PRESS RELEASE – On December 31, 2025, Deputy Dustin Smith observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane by crossing the center line of travel and fog line multiple times, so a traffic stop was initiated.
Deputy Smith quickly found out that the driver, Jamie Ray Russell, had an expired registration and a suspended license.
Deputy Smith instructed Mr. Russell to step out of the vehicle to which he complied.
