HARALSON COUNTY, Ga. – On June 7, 2024, Jonathon David Swanger, a 37-year-old W/M out of Buchanan, pled guilty to two counts of Child Molestation in the Superior Court of Haralson County. Swanger, who has been in custody since August 18, 2022, entered his plea as part of an ongoing legal process.
The court has sentenced Swanger to a total of 40 years, with the first 19 years to be served in custody. This sentence reflects the severity of the charges and the commitment of Haralson County law enforcement and judicial systems to protecting the community and ensuring justice for victims.
