HARALSON COUNTY, Ga. – On Monday, October 9, 2023, at a little after 6:00 PM, Sgt. Terry McAdams conducted a traffic stop on John Golden road of a white Cadillac with a temporary GA tag because the driver was not wearing a seatbelt.
When Sgt. McAdams approached the vehicle, the driver, Philip Jiles admitted that he had no drivers license. When Sgt. McAdams ran Jiles information through dispatch, they advised that he had an active warrant out of Carroll County GA.
During the traffic stop, Sgt. McAdams deployed K-9 Janco to conduct a free air sniff and he alerted, or indicated, the presence of drugs in the vehicle.
While conducting a probable cause search of the car, a small amount of suspected methamphetamine was located.
Philip Heath Jiles, a 33 year-old W/M out of Buchanan, GA, was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Driving While License Suspended, and Seat Belt Violation.
Tara Nicole Marlow, a 38 year-old W/F out of Bremen, GA, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine. Ashley Brooke Jackson, a 36 year-old out Villa Rica, GA, was arrested and charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
