HARALSON COUNTY, Ga. – In the early hours of Tuesday, October 3, 2023, a citizen flagged down Deputy Jon Henderson to report that there was a male in the roadway on Cashtown Road at J Wade Road that looked suspicious.

Deputy Henderson went to the area and located a male walking in the road and observed a motorcycle blocking the road.

Deputy Henderson spoke to the male, identified as Cody Hall, who stated that he had just gotten the bike and was trying to push it to the Dollar General parking lot.

Deputy Henderson ran the tag on the motorcycle, and it came back as stolen on October 2, 2023, out of Haralson County.

Sgt. Lee Bauser arrived to assist Deputy Henderson and observed that the ignition had been punched on the motorcycle.

Hall did resist when the deputies handcuffed him and again when they attempted to place him in the back of the car.

A wrecker was called to the scene and the motorcycle was recovered.
