Deputies and emergency personnel met with the child’s mother at Corinth Poseyville Road and Business 27 in Bremen to take over CPR.
Emergency personnel were advised that the child had been shot by a bb gun. The two-year-old child was transported to Tanner Medical Center at Higgins where she succumbed to her injuries.

During the initial investigation, it was discovered that the child was shot by a pellet rifle.
At this time, we can release that the child was shot by another juvenile in the home. This appears to be a tragic accident. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.
“Please join me in praying for this family,” states Sheriff Stacy Williams. “We ask that you respect the privacy of the family as they deal with the tragic loss of such a young child.”
