On Thursday, November 3, 2022, Sgt. Terry McAdams observed a male acting erratically walking on US Highway 78 close to Defnall Road. The male, identified as William Edwards Hicks, a 45-year-old W/M from Anniston AL, was unable to stand still while speaking to Sgt. McAdams. Sgt. McAdams ran Hicks through GCIC and was advised that Hicks had a warrant out of Calhoun County Alabama.
